The Manor is a Grade II listed farmhouse, set in the rural setting of Shiningford Farm. The private hot tub and log fire make for a relaxing countryside getaway for up to 19 guests.Shiningford Manor is a traditional countryside house with exposed beams, a log fire, and a farmhouse kitchen that features an AGA (and dishwasher!) to make for easy self-catering.With 9 bedrooms & 3 ensuite bathrooms and 3 further shower rooms and is dog- & family-friendly.Each bedroom can be arranged as either a twin bedroom or a double bedroom, just let us know your preference.The Manor also provides a lounge, kitchen and dining room.There are 3 buildings at Shiningford Farm, which share the outdoor swimming pool. This is open until 31st October, and then will close for winter as it is unheated. Shiningford Manor has a private garden and hot tub, that is open all year round.There is also car parking, and a shared garden at the front with a children’s play frame.

Getting in:
You’ll have exclusive use of the house, although the number of bedrooms and bathrooms left open for you is dependent on the number of guests in the reservation. For Xmas we can accept 3 households. We’ll open up 1 bedroom and bathroom for each 2 guests. 8 bedrooms can be twin singles or double rooms and two have extra single beds, the 9th bedroom is single, just let us know what you require.

Extra bits:
The Manor is a pet-friendly venue, with an extra charge of ?20 per dog.We ask that dogs are kept off the sofas and beds. Please message us with how many dogs you’ll be bringing in advance.We can provide a travel cot and high chair, just request them when you make the booking. Remember to bring bedding for the travel cot.

Ellie’s lodge is a superb family-friendly holiday house, renovated to a high standard in 2018 to offer 12 bedrooms, a bar, and entertainment area, large open-plan kitchen and living area, hot tub, sauna, table tennis table and more.The Country House was transformed from its former use as a hotel, to accommodate groups of friends or families for holidays or celebrations. Access to the property is from the large car parking area, shared with the adjacent garden centre. The entrance hallway leads to the ground floor bedrooms, the ladies and gents loos, disabled loo, staircase and on to the first living room, bar, and entertainment area, open-plan kitchen, and second living area and lastly onto the dining area. The open-plan layout means that nobody feels cut-off from the other guests and there is oodles of space for all.The rear private garden is ideal for warm sunny days when you can put on a BBQ and enjoy the hot tub, or arrange for caterers to come in and host for you!All the bedrooms have been beautifully decorated with feather duvets and plush furnishings, each with a separate theme and colour-pallet. The Kitchen is modern and large! Forget washing plates, there are two dishwashers for you to use. For longer stays, the utility room offers washing machines and a tumble dryer too.If you fancy visiting Ulverston Town Centre with its many bars and restaurants, it’s just a short 10-minute walk away. Guests have total and exclusive access to the whole of the farmhouse and surrounding gardens, summerhouse, garage and carpark, there is no shared access with complete privacy The farmhouse is situated in a rural setting and has its own private driveway ,with the nearest neighbour being a small field away. All the guest facilities are all cleaned to a very high standard following infection preventative guidelines as per EU & UK government rules ( 2020) .The gardens are extensive, surrounded by trees and hedges with beautiful views reaching out over the Shropshire hills and the corvedale. The house has its own private gravel drive way and car park area with a spacious wooden garage available for 4 vehicles with ample parking outside for a further 6-7 vehicles.The farmhouse is surrounded by a large , beautiful patio area for outside dining , with a charcoal BBQ area , a hot tub , a large seating and dining area . Plenty of space for living and dining within this house, with beautiful high ceilings and lots of natural light. The private courtyard has a hot tub, and the kitchen contains a bar and karaoke machine, so your group will never get bored! During this current time bedrooms will be reduced to suit your numbers. 8 of the bedrooms have the option of being double or single beds,some have beds for 3 guests, and there is also a bunk bed room and double room. Just let us know what you require in advance.

We can leave a travel cot and high chair, just request these in advance and bring bedding for the cot.The hot tub maybe emptied, cleaned and refilled on a Wednesday and/or Friday between 7am and 4pm. Therefore, the hot tub may not be up to temperature until late evening. Please bear this in mind if your stay is over a Wednesday or Friday. We recommend bringing a pool towel for the hot tub.

Here you can take in the tranquility of the Herefordshire countryside listening to the bird’s and watching the evening sun bathe Coddington Church spire.

The farmhouse has an East and West wing has a main front door and two other entrances , 4 bedrooms in the East Wing and 5 bedrooms in the West Wing. The main house has a large farmhouse kitchen with 4 oven Aga which can accommodate and cater for your entire party. There is ample parking for 8 cars.
